You may have noticed some exciting new markings have appeared on the playground over the summer? These have not been left by a visitor from outer space! It is our new Daily Mile track which is completely unique having been designed by Mr Heath and The Playground Company. You know how crazy we are about getting our children more active and this track is another way of doing so. It has been bought using the money raised as part of our Target Tokyo launch day in January 2018 where children were sponsored to complete a fitness circuit with an athlete. Time has now been put aside every afternoon for classed to take a break from class to get active and the evidence suggests that this will have a positive impact on achievement and children’s mental and physical health.
