School Games Inclusive Archery

On Thursday 8th December, a team of Year 5’s travelled to Bournebrook Primary School for an inclusive archery tournament organised by School Games. No one in the team had represented the school in a competition before and were really excited. The competition began with some practise and coaching time before the hour-long competition began. Competing against Bournebrook and Park Lane, each team member took it in turns to shoot 3 arrows and score as many points as possible. At the end, points were added up and scores announced…Race Leys winning with 294 points! The team received medals and were incredibly proud of their achievement.
