Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust Trip

On Wednesday 16th October, Year 5 along with 24 Year 4 children (selected due to their high AtL scores) visited Stratford-Upon-Avon, where they experienced a range of activities as they explored Shakespeare’s Birthplace, New Place and Hall’s Croft.

As they toured these iconic buildings, they learnt lots of facts about Shakespeare’s life and times from our very own dynamic and enthusiastic Year 5 tour guide, who were chosen, due to their excellent AtL scores, to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity – working for The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all, with the guides receiving much praise from SBT staff and visitors from all over the world. We are very proud of the superb way in which they represented our school, showing our Race Leys values at all times.
